The DUPLE exam certifies C2-level proficiency in Portuguese, signifying near-native fluency.
Candidates at this level can communicate with confidence, flexibility, and creativity in both oral and written contexts.
They may still face challenges with strongly culturally marked aspects of language, such as humor, idiomatic expressions, and regional variations.
This level enables candidates to broaden their vocabulary, deepen their understanding of linguistic nuances, and navigate literary, historical, and artistic references within Portuguese.
DUPLE holders can use Portuguese effectively in both professional and academic environments, whether as a working language or a primary language of communication.
The DUPLE certifies full professional and academic proficiency in Portuguese, enabling candidates to effectively communicate, work, and study at the highest level, with only minor linguistic challenges in highly complex or culturally specific contexts.
